Kim Kardashian has LASIK eye surgery
Celebrity Kim Kardashian recently had LASIK eye surgery. According to reports, she was due to perform in Las Vegas with the Pussycat Dolls the day after her surgery and took other Kardashians with her for moral support.
She need not have worried. She underwent one of the safest forms of surgery in the world: LASIK eye surgery.
Laser Assisted in Situ Keratomileusis (LASIK) Eye Surgery
LASIK eye surgery is the most common laser eye procedure performed in the world. It combines bringing brilliant results with the least discomfort, and, as we have seen, patients who undergo the procedure are back on their feet very quickly.
Dr C T Pillai, AVC’s founder and Medical Director, has been at the forefront of pioneering eye surgery for the last twenty-five years and has an impeccable LASIK safety record. In fact, Dr Pillai has an impeccable safety record for all types of eye surgery.
LASIK is suitable to treat a range of prescriptions, and the procedure takes no more than half an hour per eye. If your prescription is up to between -10.00DS to +5.00DS, or you have a -5.00DS astigmatism, you could well be eligible for the procedure.
Your Laser Eye Surgery
Now Kim Kardashian has had eye surgery, when are you going to get yours? There can be no doubt that the quality of her life has improved greatly since undergoing surgery. She will no longer have to worry about glasses or contact lenses, and she can do her thing with the Pussycat Dolls without worrying whether her contact lenses are up to the job.
The fact is that corrective vision eye surgery makes a real difference in your life. Just imagine not having to clean your contact lenses, or worry where you left your glasses. If you have a real job, it will make even more difference.
Up until the development of implantable contact lenses, LASIK was recommended to combat troops by the American Military. It has been used to treat people from varying backgrounds including high profile celebrities and sports personalities.
